What Is Soul Care?

Soul Care is exactly what the name implies, intentionally caring for the health of our souls.

Over the past year, our ministry team has been studying and applying the seven transformational principles presented in Dr. Rob Reimer’s book Soul Care. These biblical principles have beautifully complemented our existing inner healing ministry and added fresh insight and understanding to the journey toward wholeness.

Rob’s Seven Transformational Principles for a Healthy Soul: Identity, Repentance, Breaking Family Patterns, Forgiveness, Healing Wounds, Overcoming Fears, and Deliverance. Each principle invites us to examine our hearts, confront what has kept us in bondage, and experience greater freedom through the truth of God’s Word and the power of the Holy Spirit.

We cannot heal what we refuse to acknowledge, but when we bring our wounds into God’s light, transformation becomes possible.

Inner Healing and Deliverance Work Together

Throughout the Gospels, we see Jesus not only teaching truth and healing the sick, but also setting people free from demonic oppression.

Did you know casting out demons is part of the Great Commission? In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus told his disciples to teach those they disciple to obey everything I have commanded you to do. In Matthew 10, Jesus had commanded them to share the gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons and raise the dead.

We believe that inner healing and deliverance are complementary aspects of Jesus’ ministry of restoration and freedom.

Through inner healing, we invite the Holy Spirit to reveal wounds, expose lies we have believed, lead us into repentance and forgiveness, and establish our hearts in God’s truth. Deliverance addresses areas of spiritual oppression that may be connected to unresolved wounds, destructive sin patterns, or generational iniquity.

Our approach is not centered on the enemy. It is centered on Jesus Christ, His authority, His finished work on the cross, and the freedom He desires for His children.

Deliverance Ministry

Heart Revival Ministries offers individual deliverance sessions for those who have already begun the journey of inner healing. Those currently participating in a Soul Care class, as well as individuals who have received inner healing ministry through other biblical programs, may be eligible for a session.

Our trained prayer ministers approach each session with compassion, biblical understanding, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, and confidence in the authority we have in Christ. Sessions are approximately one hour. Demonic manifestations are not allowed.
